One Wednesday Night.

Hallo,
         Every wednesday my family has a little get together where my aunt makes dinner while i serve desserts =3, although lately there has been less occasions of which we do so.

I fancied to make something simple and came across a brownie recipe on bbcgoodfood so i decided to give it a shot xD also i had been requested to make gelatin fruit tarts. So the night proceeded and i attempted to make these baring in mind i've never tried using gelatin.

Outcome:

(Pic 1: The brownies where very good though it wasn't as fluffy as id have hoped, also i had added white chocolate to it but seen no traces something went wrong xD)
(Pic 2: Ok this wasn't the gelatin tart i had trouble using it so i just used cream, i had in my mind a butterfly and tried to make it haha =3 Turned out to taste like fruit and biscuits lol nice though)

              Well hi guys! I'm so sorry about my lack of attention to my blog, due to my laziness to type =[. Punish me if you wish xD. Ok so on Mon 19th of Dec 2010 i went on an adventure to London to visit my close relatives, at first it was quite hard for me to find topics to speak about because we haven't spoken in a long time. After a day or so messing around finally broke the silence barrier by just being me ^_^. Spent a lot of the vacation eating food haha (Gained a bit :/) and watching discovery channel.

Ok so i explored London in various places including trocadero/ oxford street/ China Town/ Balahm (Bento oriental restaurant) and a few other places. China town was probably the best hehe, but oxford was like another dimension o.O human traffic.

At china town there was this cafe we went in, which sold a variety of sweetness. I had a strawberry crepe and this shaved ice strawberry jelly drink. The drink was sooo nice i need the recipe xD. Also there was a very tiny shop called Pandoras which sold crepes and Takoyaki!! < This was heaven i bought about 40 xD

(Nom nom nom nom piping hot tasted better because of the cold weather T_T  ^10 Takoyaki's £4.90)

Ok im just going to post Pictures and talk about them in the quotes, sorry im rushing this a little dont want to drag.

(Ok so i stepped away from the usual Jagger bombs and 151's and tried my first sake xD Sorta felt sick after a while i guess im not used to hot alcohol ^_^. ^Was at Bento in Balahm)

(My Nephews birthday at Bento this was his cake nom nom nom i ate it all mwuahahahaha! If you have the recipe could you share it please fanx)

(Ok so you must be wondering what the fish is this? Hehe we had some celebrations left over and we though it be a good idea to deep fry them and this was the outcome! Not only that it really felt like revels since we had no idea which was which ^^ ^At bento)

(My sister had bought these cakes they were delicious, The deco was actually fresh cream which had be baffled never tried anything like it, was tasty too. When i find out where she got it from i will post on future posts =3)

(These two guys live at hamley's toy store at oxford st London, there were alot more but too many people so i couldn't take pictures xD The guy next to the buzz would not move so i took it with him in -.- Its a little adventure inside so many toys i feel like 6 again ^_^)

(Pic 2:  I bought this for my sister a frame xD but she said is this it? i had thought long about it too >,< i told her to decorate it xD)
(Pic 3: i had to treat myself since i rarely spent anything on myself but food, so this is what i got a sing sing panda!!! so cute right? touch its ears to change volume and its nose lights up xD)

(Cousin got this of his dad and when i saw this i was like.....wut the fish? Had to take a pic since he would not give me it T_T)

Ok sorry about the rushing i felt that i was going to write an essay, so its draws to an end thank you guys for being patient with me there would have been much more pictures but i was having so much fun i had forgotten :s it happens xD

Anyways back on track, what i meant to show you was..... Unboxing a Iphone 4 Yay its like its xmas!

I've had this for about an 2 hours, installing itune and setting up an account was a pain due to my ISP was being fairly bad (as usual), but eventually managed to get that sorted after smashing my modem with a hammer.....jokes ^.^. Anyways just downloaded a few apps, im contranstly staring at this goddam thing. So fun mwuahahaha such an addict now.... Angry birds makes me so angry and fustrated not being able to kill the pigs. Oh well thats the main part of this post just to let you know i got an iphone4 now =3 (Not boasting) teehee.

P.S. Please reccomend me some apps to get -Wink-

Nom nom nom quick pasta....but i cheated sorry =(

                   Before i went to work i craved some pasta xD Therefore set out to mini corner shop for some spaghetti...and my mams shopping list >,<. Ok so i thought to myself, what kind of pasta should i make....*Looks in fridge* Fudge no mince no bolognese. Scruffled around more to find pork chops...Hmmm too thick? but then Yureka! I find a bag of bacon xD Decides to make carbonara, but hasn't got the ingredients to make the sauce.......soooooooo i look into my cupboards to find lasagna cream sauce, you know what im thinking right? xD Sets out to create my White Lasagne bacon pasta  ^_^. (Woah the smiley has a mole! awsome)

Outcome -

I tried to do the best i could before i got rushed to go to work :/ But here it is anyways nom nom nom.

Ingredients -

Bacon - 6 Slices Cut up into fine strips
Dolmio White Lasagne Sauce - 500g
Spaghetti - 300g
Garlic Italian Herb - Use gut feeling, How much to slightly cover but not dominate flavour.
Finely diced garlic preserved in oil - 1 HeapTsp
Parmasan cheese slightly coat spaghetti when serving.

Methods -

1. Boil 3 Litres of water in a pot, add 4 Tablespoons  of salt to the boiling water, then add the spaghetti in a spiral shape let it to boil on medium heat for 12-16 minutes, (Always check if the spaghetti is just cooked not over cooked as it would be so soft nor undercooked where it would be chewy and hard.) After its ready to you liking drain out the pasta and run under a cold tap, and leave tilted to drain the water.

2. Heat the pan on the stove full heat, wait till hot before adding 4 Tablespoons of oil. and leave on full heat until when you put one end of the bacon strip starts to fizzle, Once it fizzles set just lowest heat and add 1 Teaspoon of Garlic cook till slightly golden then add the bacon, change the heat to just below medium. Stir a while till the bacon starts to look golden cripy brown.

3. Add in the white sauce to the bacon and stir well, once the sauce starts to boil add in the spaghetti, (if you can flip the spaghetti around in the pan adding the garlic herbs while you flip) If not enough strength use a tong. Mix well.

4. Plating up - Get a ladle and using the tongs or a pair of chopsticks swivel around into a knot (ladle sized mount) and place into the center of the plate/bowl. Top it off with the parmasan cheese and if needed a little more garlic herbs.

Tada you now have a easy cook meal which took me about 30 minutes to create ^.^

Had to take some to work because i know my sis would eat it all....... mwuahahaha

Well we all know normal people stay inside a nice warm house when its these types of conditions. But not for my sister whose out partying right now kinda silly to do it in these temperatures don't you think ^.^ Ah well her choice just hope she can get a taxi willing to drive around.
